It’s official: Taylor Jenkins Reid’s bestselling novel, Daisy & The Six, is being adapted into a ten-part series coming this March to Prime Video.
“They were lovers and friends and brothers and rivals. They couldn’t believe their luck, until it ran out. This is their story of the early days and the wild nights, but everyone remembers the truth differently. The only thing they all know for sure is that from the moment Daisy Jones walked barefoot onstage at the Whisky, their lives were irrevocably changed. Making music is never just about the music. And sometimes it can be hard to tell where the sound stops and the feelings begin.”
Daisy & The Six by Taylor Jenkins Reid is about the rise and fall of a fictional 70s rock band loosely inspired by Fleetwood Mac. It’s written like a biography and in the style of a series of interviews looking back at their historic rise to fame. Reid’s bestselling novel exploded into popularity after it was featured as part of Reece Witherspoon’s book club and shortly after The Legally Blonde star’s production company quickly swooped in to secure the rights.
There is an incredibly short teaser trailer currently available HERE and cast announcements include: Riley Keough as Daisy Jones, Sam Claflin as Billy Dunn (which I am enormously happy about), Suki Waterhouse as Karen Sirko, Camila Morrone as Camila Dunne and Josh Whitehouse as Eddie Roundtree.
Stay tuned for more updates.
