Very Neko | The Home of Magical Disney Collectables & More

Disney is very close to my heart; it always has been and always will be. Whenever I’m feeling down, a Disney film is the cosy blanket of nostalgia I can always rely on to wrap me up and put a smile back on my face. Thankfully, I have two little girls who get swept up in the magic of Disney just as easily and as often as their mummy does.

Very Neko

Very Neko is an online store full of dreamy Disney inspired collectables, accessories and clothing. I could spend hours browsing through their collection of Funko Pop! Vinyl and Loungefly backpacks, many of which are Very Neko exclusives. I was kindly gifted some of their magical products to share with you today…

Bibbidi Bobbidi Boo

How beautiful is this notebook and pen from Funko Homeware’s Cinderella Platinum Anniversary collection? The floating glitter pen sparkles as you write and the tiny glass slipper charm is the perfect finishing touch. It writes beautifully and is the perfect partner to this notebook. The cover shows Cinderella in her iconic ball gown outlined with blue foil, plus, there’s lots of room inside for my little girl, Penelope, to scribble and doodle until her heart is content. HERE

This limited-edition ceramic mug is one of my favourites in my ever-growing collection. Inscribed inside are the infamous words sung by the glamourous Fairy Godmother. It features delicate designs of Cinder’s carriage, glass slipper and tiara. HERE

May the Force Be With You

If you follow me on Instagram, you’ll be well aware of my love for a certain galactic cutie. Baby Yoda (or as true fans refer to him – Grugo) is a character from the Star Wars Disney+ original television series The Mandalorian. This notebook is truly adorable. I’ve seen so much merchandise with The Child plastered all over it recently, but as soon as I saw this A5 softcover notebook I knew I had to add it to my collection.

If you haven’t watched The Mandalorian I highly recommend you do. It’s set after the fall of the Empire and before the emergence of the First Order. I don’t believe you have to be a huge Star Wars fan to enjoy it, although, there are hundreds of hidden references and easter eggs for those who are. Each episode has its own director such as Taika Waititi and Deborah Chow, however, Jon Favreau and Dave Filoni oversee the entire project. The cinematography is just beautiful and there’s a behind-the-scenes documentary also available on Disney+ which made me appreciate the detail and passion that went into this series collection. HERE

You’ve Got a Friend in Me

This shelf has got to be my favourite display in Penelope’s bedroom. Here Andy’s toys sit proudly and well-loved (many of which are hatless or/and shoeless) waiting to be played with. It always makes me smile seeing them all lined up perfectly posed. There’s more scattered around the house. I’m sure Mr Potatohead is hiding under her baby sisters toybox. Hamm is our latest addition. I say ‘our’ because I take way more pride in this collection than Penny does. She’s lucky I let her play with them. Of course, I’m joking… kind of.

This fully functional ceramic piggy bank is an officially licenced Disney product and, I think you’ll agree, its likeness to the original wise-cracking toy is uncanny. It makes a fantastic addition to our collection. The whole gang is currently available at Very Neko as well as a huge collection of Toy Story inspired products including mugs, t-shirts, keyrings and Pop! Vinyl figurines. HERE

Finally, if you’re looking to test your knowledge the Disney Pixar themed trivia quiz is the perfect addition to any fans collection. The 50-card trivia quiz deck contains 100 questions about all of Pixar’s incredible movies including Cars, Rattaoui, Wall-E, Brave and, my personal favourite, Monsters Inc.
