Easter Treats from MyProtein

Happy Easter weekend, although, it’s a bit of a strange one, isn’t it? I’ve tried to make the most of it for the girls, thankfully I kept last years decorations and found a few bags of eggs in Aldi at the weekend. We’ve made rice crispy treats, decorated the windows and watched Hop about a hundred times, but it feels odd not having the family around and a roast cooking away in the oven. Sticking to the healthy eating habits and workout routine I had in place before we went into lockdown is becoming a bit of a struggle… especially now I’m surrounded by chocolate. The temptation to stay in my PJs all day and watch boxset, after boxset is real but thanks to Joe Wick’s 7 Days of Sweat Challenge on YouTube (he’s so adorable isn’t he?), my new running shoes and a few goodies I was recently sent from MyProtein, I’ve been surprisingly motivated to stay on track and I’ve even been able to indulge in a few sweet treats along the way…

MyProtein is a leading sports nutrition brand that specialises in high-protein foods and powders, snack alternatives, supplements and vitamins; all designed to help you reach your fitness goals – whatever they may be. Their range of products is broad and if you’re feeling a little over-whelmed their website is full of information, free workouts, recipes (I can’t wait to make one of their Easter Freak Shakes), inspiration and a ‘Goal Selector’ tool which recommends what products will support you during your journey. These are based on your gender, personal goals and dietary requirements. MyProtein also has a selection of vegan treats available which you can read all about over at of beautyandnothingness.co.uk.

As well as food and supplements, MyProtein also has a fantastic range of performance clothing and accessories available that I wasn’t aware of. If you follow me on Instagram, you already know that I’ve started running and I have my eye on their range of pastel leggings. They come in a beautiful range of colours and even have a built-in pocket for your phone. There are also matching sports bras which look lovely too.

Recently, I was very kindly sent a selection of their Easter goodies to try which included their limited edition Gooey Filled Chocolate Eggs, Chocolate-Hazelnut Protein Spread (also available in white chocolate), Choc Protein Balls, a bar of their delicious Protein Chocolate and a pack of their bestselling Whey Protein Powder (the UK’s #1 protein powder for your everyday nutrition). I was especially excited to try their Whey Protein Powder as it’s a convenient way to provide your body with high-quality protein which contributes to the growth and maintenance of muscle mass. With just 1.9g of fat, 1g of carbs, and at just 103 calories per serving, this variety is perfect for everyone, whatever your fitness goals. Plus, it comes in a huge range of flavours including Strawberry Roly Poly and Sticky Toffee Pudding. A brilliant way for someone like me who has a sweet tooth and wants to satisfy their cravings. I’ve been adding a large scoop (around 25g) to 250ml of milk after my workout.

The MyProtein Easter sale is now on! You can save up to 65% off their bestselling products PLUS use code EXTRA for an added 25% off.
