20 Uses for The Pink Stuff Miracle Cleaning Paste from Stardrops

I’m as guilty as the next for having a rather excessive collection of cleaning products. The shelves of B&M and Home Bargains are always packed with interesting, colourful and wonderfully fragranced cleaning products that it can be easy to get carried away. You really don’t need a whole ‘Narnia’ full of products to tackle many of your household chores. The Pink Stuff from Stardrops is a cleaning paste that contains 100% natural cleaning particles and can be used for endless jobs around the house. It’s incredibly easy to use and versatile. The best part? You can pick up a tub for as little at 89p.

The Pink Stuff is essentially, just an extra thick cream cleaner but it’s powerful and a very useful product to have in your arsenal. I like to use it with either my Scrub Daddy or Elbow Grease Scrub Mate (a scratch-free sponge that changes textures under different water temperatures) or an old toothbrush to get into tricky areas such as door hinges and the skirting boards. I’ve used it for lots of jobs around the house, however, it’s definitely worth noting that this is a mild abrasive cleaner, so test it on an inconspicuous patch first, especially when it comes to paint and woodwork. Simply scoop out a dollop and gently rub the paste in, leave for approximately 10 minutes and then remove with water. Just be sure to make sure you’ve removed it all or you’ll be left with streaky, chalk-like finish on your worktops. Here’s a list of jobs I’ve used mine for so far…

  1. Buffed it in with steel wool & transformed scorch marks from the bottom of my saucepans
  2. Used it to scrub the inside of my oven, door and even the racks inside
  3. Remove soap scum and toy marks from the bath
  4. Remove pen marks from my dining room table
  5. Cleaning, removing rust and polishing old costume jewellery
  6. Removing sticky residue leftover from stickers
  7. To shine up brass candlestick holders
