I was recently sent two products from Pure Anada, a vegan-friendly Canadian cosmetics and skincare brand now available at Live in the Light. Pure Anada products are designed to nourish your skin with simple botanicals from nature. There’s something quite calming and pure about the range; it’s all very ‘A Midsummer Nights Dream’. The packaging is decorated with illustrations of vintage flowers and the products contain natural aromas, colours and textures derived from real fruit and flower extracts.
Their Garden Facial Mist in Neroli and Rose contains floral water, aloe vera and hyaluronic acid. The sprayer delivers a microfine mist that is heavenly to apply and creates a veil of heavenly scented water that feels cooling, hydrating and doesn’t add any shine or more your makeup around. The fragrance is natural and a little strong so it’s safe to say, if you’re not into overly flowery fragrances then this isn’t the product fo you. I love the scent. One spray of this facial mist (I use it all over my body too) transports you into a beautiful garden in the height of summer. If you find chaotic city life, crowds and travelling stressful, a quick spritz of this will definitely help you feel more serene. It’s also available in a handy travel size bottle here.
Their Cucumber and Aloe Eye Makeup Remover is just as soothing and cooling as you’d expect. The milk gently removes makeup without stripping the delicate eye area and without the need for and rubbing or tugging. Even though I double cleanse, If I’m wearing a lot of eye makeup I still like to go in with a specialist remover to loosen everything up and make sure it’s 100% gone. It dissolves makeup effortlessly and leaves my skin feeling incredibly soft. This remover is perfect for anyone with sensitive skin.
