Yes To Grapefruit Brightening Bubbling Mask

When I picked up the Yes To Grapefruit Brightening Bubbling Mask (£3) in Boots, I had actually been searching for the unicorn peel-off mask and clay cleansers I’d seen all over Instagram. They didn’t have either in stock so I absentmindedly threw this sheet mask into my basket instead. Applying a sheet mask in the bath as I soak has become my Sunday night ritual; and if there’s a bar of Galaxy resting at the side of the tub even better.

Yes To Grapefruit Brightening Bubbling Mask The mask has a strong, fruity scent which is very similar to my Neutrogena Grapefruit Wash. It’s made from 100% cotton and is vegan-friendly. The packaging is obviously pretty cute and the mask itself fits nicely on my face. It immediately starts to bubble up, creating a thick layer of foam on the surface of the mask. Yes To… claim that the combination of grapefruit, vitamin c and oxygen help to purify and deep clean pores which leaves your skin glowing. This mask is incredibly gimmicky and is ideal for a girl’s night in treat, but other than that it did very little to my skin. I have a strange relationship with foaming cleansers as they can often irritate and make my skin feel dry. Leaving this mask on for 10 minutes felt like leaving an itchy foam cleanser sitting on my skin. I couldn’t wait to remove it!Yes To Grapefruit Brightening Bubbling Mask I don’t look for miracles after using a sheet mask for the first time, however, I do like my skin to feel softer and hydrated. This mask made my skin feel tight and I immediately slapped on some moisturiser to try and rid myself of the sensation. As I said, this would make a cute stocking filler or a novelty gift, but as an introduction to a brand I’ve read so many positive things about and was looking forward to trying, I was left very disappointed. Definitely, one to miss if you have sensitive or dry skin.

Yes To Grapefruit Brightening Bubbling Mask retail for £3 and are available to purchase at Feel Unique here.
