Lipstick Queen is a makeup brand I’ve wanted to try for the longest time, especially after reading glowing reviews from Lady Writes and Make Erin Over about their lipstick collection. So when I got an email letting me know that the June ‘Haul of Fame’ product was a full-sized lipstick from their ‘Nothing But the Nudes’ collection worth £22 I immediately re-subscribed to the ‘Beauty Novice’ option. I obviously grabbed one of the lipsticks, although only two of the original 8 shades are available and which one you receive is completely random.
I received the shade ‘Sweet as Honey’ and I couldn’t be more in love with it. It’s a pretty pale pink nude that makes my lips look fuller and doesn’t wash me out. It’s the perfect ‘your lips but better’ type of shade that’s perfect for spring. The formula is super creamy and reminds me of my MAC cremesheen lipsticks but even more hydrating. I also managed to pick-up the Fudge Luminiser Shampoo and Conditioner which I think have both sold-out but fingers crossed for a restock soon. They were both full-sized and currently retail for £11.95 each over at Look Fantastic, meaning that I managed to secure over £45 of goodies for only £9 and I couldn’t be happier. New products are added to the picking list every day but they are selling out fast so you need to be quick to get the most out of your money.
