The Antipodes Moisture-Boost Natural Lipstick Collection is made from natural, healthy, edible ingredients which makes these lipsticks safer to wear, plus the nutrient-rich pure plant oils inside mean that these lipsticks actually condition as they colour. As well as vibrant lip pigments, antibacterial beeswax, deeply conditioning shea butter and extra vitamin E for added nourishment, the lipsticks contain:
- Avocado oil: Packed with essential fats, vitamins and minerals, our ‘green gold for skin’ helps to increase collagen production and keep your lips beautifully dewy and fresh.
- Calendula oil: Healing oil from the marigold flower has anti-inflammatory properties.

The lipsticks come boxed and encased in a simple black matte bullet. The quote “I’m so healthy…” can be found on outside and “…you could almost eat me” on the inner tube; a nod to the fact that their creation was actually inspired by natural health supplements and that they contain edible ingredients. I was really surprised by how pigmented these lipsticks are. I was expecting a light wash of colour partnered with the nourishing properties of a balm but in fact, they give a decent amount of colour payoff considering the low levels of colour pigment inside. My favourite shade is ‘Golden Bay Nectar’, a beautiful peachy nude. The lipsticks feel very light and hydrating. There’s no sickness, however, their creamy formula will transfer throughout the day. Dragon Fruit Punch is a vibrant Barbie pink and Forest Berry Red is rich ruby red.
