What’s inside the Tili Abstract Beauty Box from QVC?

The Tili Beauty Box from QVC is a one-off purchase, not a subscription, so you won’t be tied into a contract. The Abstract Beauty Box retails for £20 with free delivery. You can also purchase previous boxes such as the ‘Be Kind’ box which featured brands such as Tarte, bareMinerals and Percy & Reed as well as a purple velvet sleep mask. This box contains £89.77 worth of products, including a mini Laura Geller Eyeshadow Palette and three full-sized products. The box itself is beautifully designed and very heavy. I reuse all my empty Tili boxes and the products inside come wrapped in tissue paper so it’s the perfect fuss-free birthday present if you’re searching for a gift that any makeup and skincare enthusiast would love.

The Abstract Beauty Box contains 10 products including a 10ml perfume (worth £22) from Floral Street, an award-winning London-based fragrance house. You have the chance to discover one of eight fragrances from the brand all featuring sustainable packaging and cruelty-free formulations. Fragrances available include Neon Rose, Wonderland Peony, Ylang Ylang Espresso, London Poppy, Wild Vanilla Orchid, Chypre Sublime, Iris Goddess or Black Lotus. The packaging is certainly unique and the scent is right up my street. Rose-based scents have a tendency of smelling like your gran, but this fragrance is sweet, modern and clean. Key ingredients include Bergamot, Cassis Kir, Apple Blossom, Sichuan Pepper, Cyclamen, Juniper Berry, Jasmine Egypt, Angelica, White Cedarwood, Peach Nectar, Crisp Amber. It lasts well throughout the day too so this deluxe travel-sized bottle might last longer than I originally thought. Neon Rose is certainly a wonderful introduction to the brand. My only wish is that I bought this box sooner so I could have treated myself to a full-sized bottle for Mother’s Day.

There’s one product inside this box that I can’t see myself ever using (9 out of 10 isn’t bad) and that’s the James Read Sleep Mask Tan Face (25ml). This colourless, moisturising gel claims to create a natural-looking tan while you sleep, so you wake up with a subtle glow. I’m very pale so the thought of putting an overnight tanning mask on terrifies me, but I can certainly find some who will love this.

The Molton Brown Jasmin & Sun Rose Bath & Shower Gel (100ml) contains a blend of raspberry, bergamot, peach, jasmine, osmanthus, patchouli and musk. I love Molton Brower shower products so I was glad to find this in my box as you can never have too many. It smells amazing and their body products always ensure an aromatic bathing experience and leave my skin feeling super soft. Another body product included was the Margaret Dabbs Intensive Hydrating Hand Lotion (45ml). This isn’t a brand I’m familiar with but hand cream is another product that I use daily and will get plenty of use out of.

There are two face product inside, the Ultrasun Tinted Face SPF 30 (15ml); a lightweight tinted sunscreen offers heavy-duty UVA and UVB protection and the Philosophy Purity Cleanser (90ml) that features a “liquid crystal emulsion formula” that gently removes dirt, oil and debris while also toning the skin.

Now for my favourite products – the makeup! The best thing about all four products is that they come in very wearable shades; there are no garish or limited colours. First up, the Nude by Nature Loose Finishing Powder (1.5g) in Translucent. Setting powder is a product I wear daily so I was very excited to find this little pot in my box, especially in translucent! The box also includes a full-sized INC.redible Jelly Shot Lip Quencher (worth £8) which is incredibly pretty and that I’m very excited to try, a full-sized Mally Shadow Stick Extra (1.3g) in Champagne (worth £19.50) and the Laura Geller Iconic New York Travel Palette (3 x 0.04g).
