I find myself scrolling through the ‘What’s New’ pages and filters of websites like Cult Beauty, Superdrug, Beauty Bay, Space NK and Debenhams almost daily; not necessarily to buy anything, usually just to keep up-to-date with the latest trends and releases. Trendmood, both on Instagram and Facebook, is one of the best accounts to follow if you’re interested in upcoming launches and I also recommend checking out Jen Luvs Beauty, her ‘What’s Up in Makeup NEWS!’ series on YouTube for current beauty news.
I can go months without actually seeing anything worth buying, however, recently there have been some gorgeous collections and limited-edition products launching that I’ve been seriously lusting after. First up, the Charlotte Tilbury David Bowie inspired ‘Icons’ collection features a beautiful 12-pan eyeshadow palette and six limited-edition ‘Latex Love’ lip glosses. The last thing I’m needing is another nude palette with a pop of metallic blue (see the Lottie London Xthuyle Living My Best Life), however, after reading Laura’s in-depth review over at lauralouisebeauty.co.uk I’m convinced I need this stunning palette in my life.
Other jaw-droppingly beautiful eyeshadow palette releases include the Morphe 35G Bronze Goals Artistry Palette, the Forever Flawless Collection (featuring four palettes: Constellation, Decadent, Optimum and Unconditional Love) and finally the Anastasia Beverly Hills Rivera Palette. As well as the vibrant palette, their recent spring launch also includes three loose highlighters, a dewy setting spray and a Diprow Gel in 11 shades.
Finally, It’s hard to keep up with all the skincare launches from Pixi. I have my eyes on their new Vitamin C Collection, however, Pixi has also expanded their Glow Tonic and Rose family as well as releasing a Hydrating Milky range that features a tonic, cleanser, lotion, peel and mask. Don’t get me started on all the new makeup; glitter eyeshadow quads, eyeshadow sticks and luminous oil mists which you can find out more about here.
