The Vintage Love Letter Biscuit Tin* is full of designs inspired by old-fashioned romance. It contains nine biscuits, all wrapped up very carefully in a reusable keepsake box. The whimsical designs include a white love bird, letters of various sizes, postboxes, stamps and even a beautiful blue fountain pen. The attention detail really is breathtaking and they almost look too good to eat. You can also have your own message iced onto one of the ‘letters’ for a lovely personalised touch.
The biscuits themselves are handmade and contain the Biscuiteers own unique recipe, based upon a traditional twice baked English style biscuit. They taste like shortbread, very rich and buttery, but have a snap to them like a gingerbread man and also a chewiness to them. They contain Madagascan vanilla and have at least 1 month’s shelf life from the moment they leave the kitchen for delivery. I think they’re delicious and my husband and I devoured this entire tin at an alarmingly quick rate.
I can express enough how wonderful I think this biscuit tin is. I’ve never received, let alone seen, anything quite as special as it before.
