I’m a huge fan of the iconic Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz, it’s a product I’ve repurchased time and time again. Taupe is the closest match I’ve ever found for a brow product and it’s incredibly easy to use. The Soft Glam Eyeshadow Palette was one of my favourite products of 2018 and I fell in love with their dreamy Sugar Glow Kit last year too. I picked up the Anastasia Beverly Hills Matte Lipstick Nudes Set (AF Link) during Beauty Bay’s 30% off event a few weeks ago. These are exactly the kind of shades I wear on a daily basis, it’s as if this little set was put together just for me.
A full-sized ABH lipstick contains 3.5g and retails for £18. This limited edition set includes four mini lipsticks (1.3g each) and retails for £22. The set contains four of their bestselling nude shades – Spice (Rosy oak), Kiss (Rosy petal pink), Dead Roses (Rosy lilac) and Soft Pink (Blushing pink). The lipsticks are richly pigmented, with a velvet-like matte finish which isn’t overly drying. I hate when matte formulas leave you with that chalk-like texture to the lips, however, even though these completely dry down, they’re comfortable and very long lasting. They are everything you’d look for from a high-end matte lipstick; creamy, easy to apply and full coverage.
This set is valued at £32 and is perfect for anyone who is curious as to whether their lip collection is just as fabulous as their highlighters and brow products. The answer is yes. The shades are ideal for everyday wear and I actually like how convenient the travel-sized versions are to carry, although I very rarely find myself needing to reapply them throughout the day. There is also a Pinks & Berries set available here (AF Link) which I’d love to also add to my collection at some point.
