Complete Your Party Look with Lashes & Brows from FalseEyelashes.co.uk

I’ve always been jealous at how effortlessly beauty vloggers pop on a pair of fluttery eyelashes at the end of a tutorial like it’s the easiest thing in the world to do. I’ve lost count of the number of times I’ve ruined my makeup or practically glued my eyelids together in an attempt to fix a wonky lash band. It’s a skill I just can’t master thanks to my wobbly hands and twitchy eyelids, but I keep purchasing packs of beautiful wispy lashes regardless. When FalseEyelashes.co.uk got in touch to ask if I’d like to try a few products from their collection I was hesitant, however, as soon as I realised that they also stock brow products, makeup brushes and, most importantly, starter kits for beginners and the utterly hopeless, I couldn’t wait to try them out.

FalseEyelashes.co.uk | Eylure Lengthening Lashes 118 Starter Kit

I was kindly sent three products by Eylure including the Lengthening Lashes 118 Starter Kit (£6.20). The kit contains two tubes of Eylure adhesive, one pair of fluttery and very natural looking reusable eyelashes, a spare practice lash and a small applicator tool. It took me a long time to apply this set of lashes and even then I needed to use a lot of liquid liner afterwards to disguise how unevenly I stuck them on. The lash applicator was definitely a big help and although it took a lot of effort and I’m STILL not 100% happy with the results, this kit did help improve my confidence, although I still have a long way to go. If you are looking for beginners tips on how to select the right style, how to cut your lashes to size and how to look after them, check out their Lash Education section which is full of handy information and advice.

FalseEyelashes.co.uk | Eylure Brow Pomade

Moving onto an area I’m much more confident in; the brow products. I was sent the Eylure Brow Pomade (£8.99) and Eylure Brow Pencil (£5.99) both in the shade Soft Brown. The two products work perfectly together. The pencil allows me to shape and map out my brows as well as create fine hair-like strokes to sparse areas. It gives a natural looking finish and the pencil glides onto my brows easily with little resistance and a decent amount of colour payoff. I’d never used a pomade before, however, I found this one surprisingly easy to use. It’s very creamy and only the tiniest bit is needed to fill in patchy areas and give the impression of thicker and fuller brows. It’s buildable so the pomade can be used to create both soft, natural looking browns and bolder, bushier brows depending on your preference.
