Obsession All We Have Is Now Eyeshadow Palette

Obsession is yet another sister brand of Revolution and part of the Tam Beauty family. They are probably most well known for their customisable palettes and clip-in eyeshadow displays in Boots. All We Have Is Now contains 16 shades and a full-sized mirror in a baby pink cardboard palette with a magnetic closure. I don’t think I’ve read any reviews about Obsession, the brand really doesn’t seem to be creating much buzz now the initial hype surrounding their buildable palettes has died down. I noticed that they have recently collaborated with beauty vlogger Belle Jorden, however, I’m afraid I’m not familiar with her work. Regardless, I was really impressed by what their display had to offer, especially their collection of eyeshadow and blush palettes. All We Have Now is vegan-friendly and retails for £10.

This is the first product I’ve ever purchased from Obsession and I’m rather impressed. The mixture of versatile neutrals and vibrant pops of colours really appealed to me. I like that each pan is removable and that the shade names are printed below, although I’m not really sure what the running theme is supposed to be? I guess they’re referring to taking chances and living in the moment. The palette contains a combination of six shimmers, nine mattes and a glittered matte. As you can tell from the swatches below Zen, Star and Spell are clearly the stand out shades. The mattes are a little on the dry side but they apply evenly enough. They are easy to blend and build, although I definitely suggest using an eyeshadow primer to prolong their longevity.

The top row is definitely my favourite. The shimmers are beautiful and intensify when packed on with a damp brush. I have very little complaints with this palette. Yes, they’re not as richly pigmented as some of my high-end palettes and a few of the peachy mattes on the third row look almost identical, however, they apply easily and blend effortlessly. The palette has a decent amount of weight to it, quality transition shades, a good mix of finishes and I also appreciate the size of the mirror too.

The ‘All We Have Now’ Eyeshadow Palette by Obsession retails for £10 and is available to purchase here.
