MUA Blushed Matte Blush Powder in Rose Tea

It’s been a while since I’ve bought anything from MUA, and now all of a sudden I have a long list of products I want to try including their new Blurring Primer Stick, Ultra Sparkle Eyeshadow Palette, Bronzed Powder and Super Stylo Satin Finish Lipsticks. A Superdrug order is definitely on the cards this payday. One MUA product I’ve been loving recently and highly recommend is their new Blushed Powder in Rose Tea (£2.50).

There’s no getting away from the fact the embossed flower on top looks incredibly similar to the design of the Milani Rose Powder Blushes but it’s beautiful nonetheless. It’s also worth noting that the MUA version is 4x cheaper and has a very similar range of shades. Rose Tea is exactly the kind of blush shade I usually gravitate to in the pan but it actually looks a lot brighter in ‘real life’, it’s still very pretty though. It gives a baby pink pop of colour to the cheeks and has a matte finish. The powder blends out flawlessly and has just the right amount of pigment. I tend to find that affordable blushers can be really chalky but the powder is very soft with a smooth texture. It’s a little brighter than blushers I usually use and because of that, I find that I have to go in very lightly. If you’re looking for a more muted rose shade on the high street you might like the Nip+Fab Blusher Palette in Blushed instead which is also available at Superdrug.

There are currently six shades in the Blushed Powder collection including two shimmers. I’m really impressed with the formula of the blusher considering the price but will definitely swatch the rest of the collection before adding more shades to my collection.

The MUA Blushed Matte Blush Powders retail for £2.50 and are available here
