Lottie London Gloss’d Supercharged Gloss Oil

Lottie London is a makeup brand that not nearly enough people are talking about. I’m a huge fan of their Shimmer Squad Highlighter Quad and Shadow Swatch Palette. Recently I purchased their Selfie Ready Foundation after reading countless glowing reviews from EmmyWritesAbout and their Lottie London x Thuy Le Living My Best Life Eyeshadow Palette and a few of their new brow products thanks to GemmaEtc.com. So far I’m really impressed and my reviews will be going live in the upcoming weeks.

Lipglosses have been overshadowed by matte formulas for what feels like years, however, my chapped lips are glad to see them make a comeback. The ‘Gloss’d’ collection currently contains eight shades including clear, icy pinks, deep purples and corals. I picked up ‘Drenched’, a nude gloss which is very similar to my all-time favourite, ‘Fairy Floss’ by Colourpop. This isn’t your average sticky gloss that glues your lips together and feels thick or gloopy. It’s a gloss-oil hybrid packed with moisturising ingredients that hydrates and nourishes whilst adding a subtle hint of colour. It also smells heavenly, like vanilla buttercream icing.

Inside the tube is a long wand with a basic doe foot applicator that hugs the lips and makes application a doddle. I really like liquid lip products that come in squeezy tubes as there is no wastage. I hate when there’s a big dollop of product at the bottom or stuck to the sides that your applicator can’t reach. The gloss feels light and makes my lips appear fuller without glueing them together. I love the barely-there shade Drenched. It’s flattering on all skin tones and can be layered on top of your favourite nude lipstick for that perfect finishing touch.

The Lottie London Gloss’d Supercharged Gloss Oils retail for £4.95 each and are available now at Superdrug.
