When my husband asked me what I want for Christmas I spent hours trawling the internet and, unsurprisingly, came up with a list of beautiful new makeup with a few Disney x Cath Kidston accessories thrown in for good measure. Skincare and pretty eyeshadow palettes are both my weaknesses and I found myself seriously drooling over the new Huda Beauty Nude Eyeshadow Palette (£56) which launches November 1st. I loved her Mauve Obsession Palette and I have high hopes for this upcoming release.
There are many Too Faced products I want to try such as Born This Way, however, I’ve read online that their foundations have a tendency to oxidise and I have no idea where the nearest counter is. The only Too Faced products I’ve tried are the Better Than Sex Mascara, which I wasn’t blown away by, and the Sweet Peach Eyeshadow Palette, which is one of my all-time favourite palettes. The Gingerbread Spice Palette (£39) is full of shades I know that I’ll get a lot of use out of and I’d love to add it to my collection. Plus, I’m a sucker for festively themed holiday collections. I couldn’t help notice that the new Revolution Pro x NATH Eyeshadow Palette (£10) contains a lot of similar shades and is nearly a quarter of the price. The packaging also reminds me of the Jeffree Star Blood Sugar Palette. So far, I’ve been really impressed with Revolution Pro’s eyeshadow formula and will probably treat myself to this soon.
Regular readers will already know that Urban Decay’s All Nighter Setting Spray is one of my holy grail beauty products. I always make sure that there’s a bottle sitting on my dressing table and it’s one of the few makeup products I use every single day. The only disappointing thing about it is the fragrance so now Urban Decay has a limited edition cherry scented version (here), I can’t wait to get my hands on it! Fingers crossed they haven’t fiddled with the formula.
There are a handful of skincare brands I really want to try in 2019. These include Sunday Riley, Kate Somerville, Alpha-H and Drunk Elephant. I was disappointed that their price points were so high when they finally launched their collection in the UK over at Cult Beauty and Space NK last month. I’m still waiting for a few of my favourite beauty bloggers to review their collection so I can decide which products are worth the investment before I take the plunge. The Inspector Drunk Kit (£84) contains five of their bestselling products.
Finally, I’ve been wanting to try the Anastasia Beverly Hills Liquid Lip formula for some time now and I came across this gift set (here) that includes six full-sized lipsticks for only £34. They usually retail for £20 each so this is an incredible saving and will definitely be going on my Christmas list this year.
