Just the other day a box of goodies from Rhythm108 appeared at my door full of their bestselling Ooh-la-la Tea Biscuit Sharing Bags. Rhythm108 specialise in organic, delicious, wholesome good-for-you delicacies that include biscuits, dessert bars and chocolate bars. They believe in simple recipes that are high in fibre, gluten-free and packed full of whole grains, fruits, vegetables and nuts.
I was very kindly sent four varieties from their Ooh-La-La Tea Biscuit collection including Lemon Ginger Chia, Coconut Cookie, Double Choc-Hazelnut and Almond Biscotti. The packaging is beautiful and I couldn’t help but think how lovely these would look in a food hamper for (sorry) Christmas. Each share bag contains 20 vegan-friendly, miniature biscuits containing a new twist on a classic recipe. All flavours are gluten-free, dairy-free and contain no refined sugar.
It didn’t take too long for every bag to be ripped open and for the taste testing to commence. All four versions contain the same crumbly whole grain oats and coconut oil base which is incredibly filling and satisfying. There’s something so humble and wholesome about each bite and they smell heavenly; like they’ve just been baked! I love when Penny eats anything relatively healthy as she’s such a fussy eater, her favourites where the Double Choco-Hazelnuts. I loved the Coconut Cookies. They were naturally sweet and incredibly moreish. I think pretty much ate the whole bag and I’ll definitely be keeping an eye out for them next time I’m in Sainsbury’s. If you’re looking for a little inspiration when it comes to healthy back-to-school ideas they also come in mini treat bags perfect for packed lunches.
