We’re expecting Penny’s little sister to arrive any day now. She could even be here by the time this post goes live! I’m booked into the hospital Friday morning to start the whole process of being induced… again. Why don’t my baby’s ever want to leave? My hospital bag has been packed for what feels like months (you can read all about it here) but recently I was sent the adorable Marshall Monkey Little Kids Backpack from Skip Hop (£20) so I decided to put together a bag full of goodies for when Penny is shipped off to her grans when I go into labour. It’s just another way to make Penelope feel like the special big sister. We have so many new toys for the baby, I’d hate for her to feel left out.
Skip Hop’s award-winning ZOO collection features a wide range of signature animals, allowing each child to choose their favourite character to keep them company throughout the day from mealtime to night-time. The ZOO collection is one of the largest non-licensed character-driven lines of toddler items, with products ranging from backpacks and raingear to a wide assortment of mealtime, on-the-go, home and bath products that promote a toddler’s independence and drive imagination.
The Little Kids Backpack from Skip Hop is available in various cute and cuddly creatures including Otis Owl, Jules Giraffe and Cheddar Cow. Recently Skip Hop added three new characters: Luna Llama, Bailey Bat and London Leopard. The backpack is designed to be durable but lightweight and packed full of personality. It holds all of Penny’s sleepover supplies including her favourite books, sweet treats and art supplies; you know – all the fun stuff! The mesh side pockets adjust to fit a juice bottle and the front pouch is ideal for snacks and includes extra pockets for pencils and other travel necessities. It also has comfy padded straps go easy on little shoulders!
