Over 2 months ago I received a fabulous delivery from Love Me Beauty full of wonderful products from skincare experts Caudalie. Caudalie is a French beauty brand that was founded in 1995 and has since become a leading pioneer in luxury skincare. Caudalie is committed to using formulas that contain natural ingredients, that respect the environment and are biodegradable, free from toxins such as parabens, SLS, mineral oils and phthalates, and are cruelty-free. I’ve tried a number of their products in the past including their Deep Cleansing Exfoliator and Vinosource Moisturising Sorbet which I’ve also been incredibly impressed with but I have fallen head over heels for the Vine[Activ] Overnight Detox Oil (£30 | 30ml).

The inner lazy girl inside of me always appreciates high-quality skincare products that get to work while I sleep. Overnight oils such as this one are a lifesaver for mums with very little time to pamper themselves throughout the day. Simply use around 6 drops (this sounds a lot but it’s actually the perfect amount) and massage into your skin before bedtime. The oil is 100% natural and contains a blend of grape-seed, regenerating rose hip, purifying neroli, soothing lavender and detoxifying carrot oils. It melts into the skin effortlessly without feeling oily or leaving any greasy residue on your skin or pillow. It’s designed to detoxify and regenerate skin exposed to “stress, pollution, UV’s & other free radical’s”.
It feels very luxurious and instantly leaves skin feeling softer. I have combination skin that is prone to excess shine and spots on my chin and forehead, however, the Detox Oil hasn’t broken me out once since using it. It manages to nourish, calm and hydrate dry patches around my eyes and cheeks without clogging pores or overloading my skin with product – it creates the perfect balance. Since using the Caudalie Detox Oil I have noticed that my skin looks healthier and plumper. I love how low maintenance it is! Simply pop on before bedtime and wake up to soft, calm and pampered skin – what’s not to love? I have also been using the oil every night since receiving it and the bottle hardly looks like I’ve touched it so it’s a great investment.
