*Skincare & Makeup Wish List | Cult Beauty Edition

I read a ridiculous amount of beauty blogs each week and watch makeup tutorials from my favourite YouTubers such as Tati, Kathleen Lights and Sophie Louise almost daily. It’s not hard to believe that my beauty ‘wish list’ can grow at an alarming rate. There are so many products I’ve read fabulous reviews about but have yet to take the plunge and try for myself. Most of them come with high-end price tags but, thankfully, sites like Groupon have amazing discount codes for savings on your favourite Cult Beauty products.

At the top of my Cult Beauty wish list is the new Bigger, Brighter Eyes Palette from Charlotte Tilbury. I’ve yet to try any of her dreamy eyeshadow palettes despite how drop-dead gorgeous they all look. The limited edition ‘Exagger-Eyes’ quad contains ivory-cream, rose gold, red-brown and a transparent sparkle shade. Another palette that has caught my eye recently is the Huda Beauty Mauve Obsessions Palette. I’ve read that these mini palettes are packed with pigment, the only thing that has been holding me back from making a purchase is how tiny they are! Size aside, you can’t deny how beautiful this collection of shades is.

Pixi has been killing it recently with their new skincare releases. Their new Rose Tonic and Rose Cream Cleanser sound heavenly. I’ve also read many reviews praising their range of facial mists especially the Hydrating Milky Mist, however, it’s the Makeup Fixing Mist that most appeals to me. As much as I adore my All Nighter Spray from Urban Decay, I’m not the biggest fan of its scent and this pink mist is infused with rose water and green tea.

Who doesn’t want to have the body of a Brazillian Goddess? Everyone seems to be talking about Sol de Janeiro’s range of body care products but I’ve yet to try a single one. The Brazilian 4 Play Moisturizing Shower Cream-Gel and Brazilian Kiss Cupuaçu Lip Butter are two of their most hyped and bestselling products that both constantly pop up my Instagram feed. I’ve been wanting to try both for months now, however, I’m hesitant to invest in products from a brand I have no experience of at all, but if they’re Tati approved I’m seriously tempted…

Regular readers will know all about my love/hate relationship with matte lip formulas but I’ve read wonderful things about the Anastasia Beverly Hills Liquid Lipstick Collection. Three shades, in particular, have been calling my name; American Doll, Naked and Dolce. Hourglass is a brand that is new to Cult Beauty and one I’ve been wanting to try for years! Their Ambient Lighting Powder is iconic. Is it strange I want it even though I’m not 100% sure what it actually does?! Everyone wants flawless skin and this illuminating powder claims to conceal imperfections and “capture, diffuse and soften harsh light”. Another product that promises to deliver ‘selfie-ready’ skin is the Charlotte Tilbury Hollywood Flawless Filter. It’s a primer/highlight hybrid that can be used in a multitude of ways to boost your complexion whilst making lines and pores appear smoother.

Finally, I’ve been lusting over the Too Faced Milk Chocolate Soleil Bronzer. It looks like the perfect shade for my pale skin and boats a formula that’s smooth, easy to blend and creates warmth without a hint of orange. Every pale girl’s dream!

As you can tell, my current Cult Beauty wish list is full of amazing products that every makeup lover has probably lusted over at some point in their lives. Have I mentioned any of your favourites? I’d love to know what’s currently on yours. Don’t forget, Groupon is the place to go for active deals and promotional offers. You can check out their dedicated Cult Beauty page here.
