Finally Available in the UK | L’Oréal Infallible Pro-Glow Foundation

When the L’Oréal Paris Infallible Pro-Glow Foundation popped up on NikkieTutorials ‘Hit and Oh God No’s’ back in January 2017 I was so excited for it’s UK launch. I waited and waited and waited. I was a fan of the original Infallible foundation, even though I felt it’s shade range could be improved, but not so much the Total Coverage version, which I thought looked cakey and patchy after just a few hours wear.

Pro-Glow took so long to arrive in the UK that I actually contemplated using a US packaging forwarding company like MyMailBox to get my hands on it from Ulta but for some reason, the foundation was ‘unsuitable for international delivery’. Bizarrely enough, over a year later, I found out from Kasie over at Kasiebeauty.co.uk on Instagram that Pro-Glow is now available in the UK but as an Amazon exclusive while stocks last.

L’Oréal claims that Pro-Glow has up to 24 hours wear time and gives a radiant glow finish with a light texture that hydrates normal/dry skin types. Once again, the shade range is abysmal, with only 12 available. 201 Classic Ivory is the lightest shade and has pink undertones. It corresponds to shades 1C and 1W in the True Match collection. I can just about make it work, however, I feel a bit more confident adding a drop of my trusty lightening drops to lighten it a touch.

The bottle instructs you to give it a shake but I found that this caused a lot of product to come squirting out as soon as I opened it. The foundation is quite runny and reminds me of my Charlotte Tilbury Light Wonder. It feels very lightweight and blends out flawlessly with a Beauty Blender. This foundation is more suited to normal/dry skin so I found it broke down a little around my chin and nose after a few hours but this was easily disguised with a little powder. Pro-Glow is a medium coverage foundation that gives a natural looking finish which adds a very subtle dewy glow to your complexion.

Overall, I am impressed with the formula of the L’Oréal Paris Infallible Pro-Glow Foundation. I love how easy it is to apply and how lightweight and comfortable it feels. It evens out my discolouration and adds a healthy-looking glow to my skin. I am, however, disappointed with the range of shades available. As they can’t seem to get their light shades correct, I am highly dubious about the darker ones.
