Bobbi Brown Crazy for Color Lip Palette | Review & Swatches

Whilst my eyeshadow palette collection is my pride and joy, I have yet to purchase a single lipstick palette. I don’t know why but they never appealed to me, in fact, I don’t think I own a lip brush either. I was given the limited edition Bobbi Brown Crazy for Color Lip Palette at Christmas and whilst I don’t dip into it as much as my Shimmer Bricks, blushes and eyeshadows, I have to admit, this little palette is fantastic for travelling with. It contains six beautiful shades that are universally flattering and easy to apply. The shades are creamy, buildable and can be mixed together to make your perfect shade.

The Crazy for Color Lip Palette contains six bestselling shades of Bobbi Brown’s iconic creamy, semi-matte lipstick. Salmon (pale peach), Mango (soft coral), Neon Pink (vibrant Barbie pink), Candied Red (raspberry red), Hot Tutu (rose pink) and finally, Sandwash Pink (beige pink); their number one bridal colour. The palette comes in a Bobbie Brown signature sleek black compact with a fine tipped lip brush and mirror.

The lipsticks are semi-matte and therefore not very longlasting, however, the formula is enriched with vitamin E, vitamin C and beeswax so they feel very hydrating and nourishing. I found that if you blot these onto your lips with your finger they act almost like a light stain which gives a very pretty flush of colour. Alternatively, you can layer them on with the brush to build a more opaque finish. This is an incredibly versatile little palette and a brilliant introduction to the Bobbi Brown lipstick collection.

The Bobbi Brown Crazy for Color Lip Palette retails for £29.50 and is available here
