If you’ve read my previous post you probably already know that things have been really difficult and stressful lately. I am definitely in need of some relaxation and a good old pamper session. So you can imagine how loudly I squealed with delight when I found out I had won a giveaway the lovely Alice from AliceAnne.com (@alicespake) hosted with The Natural Mama Company.
I only received my prize yesterday but wasted no time taking photos of all the luxurious goodies inside, as I knew just by looking at them that they won’t last long in my bathroom! Evolve Beauty Nourishing Hair Elixir – My post-partum hair the first time around was seriously damaged and brittle. It might not seem like a big deal, but honestly, after your body has already gone through some pretty intense changes, problems like your hair falling out can really get you down, so I really appreciate this award-winning serum making an appearance. It’s little touches like this that really show how much effort has gone into putting this box together.
Isla Apothecary Relax + Recover Bath Salts – This is the product I am most looking forward to! I’ve never heard of this brand before, but, wow, these salts smell heavenly and a bath, bar of Galaxy and a new book is my favourite way to unwind.
Made By Coopers Comforting Body Oil – The packaging is something out of an old apothecary which I adore. Each glass bottle contains a rose-infused blend of cold pressed plant oils with essential oils. Body Oils are great for rubbing into your thighs and tummy as they being to stretch and feel a little dry so this will definitely come in handy.
Birdhouse Tea Company Love Tea – Could this tea be any Instagram friendly?! I need to buy a glass mug so I can fully appreciate it’s true beauty. As you can imagine, the blend of rose and chamomile smells wonderful and the ingredients are said to help balance hormones, boost immunity and aid relaxation.
I couldn’t be more delighted with this bundle of products. You can really tell that this box was made by a fellow mama who’s experienced pregnancy and post-partum life. Buying for a new mum can be difficult. I found myself receiving the same, but still incredibly thoughtful, gifts such as baby books and memory boxes which are lovely but don’t really cater to the needs of a stressed-out new mama. The Natural Mama Company sells beautiful curated and bespoke gift boxes which range from £26-£75.
