I know you should never judge a book by its cover, and I guess the same goes for gift sets and packaging but, wow, this is pretty. There have definitely been a few hit and misses when it comes to 2017 Christmas launches. I prefer more traditional wrapping but still colourful and luxurious looking. It’s too safe to say, Tarte, Ren and Crabtree & Evelyn have stolen my heart this year; let’s not even talk about Benefit, yikes. Many giftsets only cater to people who have baths, so this is great for my friends and family who have showers but still want to indulge in a little pampering this Christmas. The set contains a large shower gel and body lotion (250ml each) fragranced with fruity pomegranate, orange, ginger, sweet fig and a sprinkling of black pepper. The scent is unusual but I adore it, it’s festive and spicey but with a fruity and zesty kick which is incredibly uplifting. The shower gel leaves your skin kissably soft thanks to the added Moroccan argan oil and grapeseed oil. This clearly isn’t a ‘normal’ shower gel, it’s lather is rich, creamy and nourishing. Individually the shower gel retails for £16 and the body lotion for £19. This set retails for £21.70, that’s a saving of £13.30 plus the added gorgeous packaging that will look perfect under a loved one’s tree this Christmas.
This collection may be designed for a slightly older customer in mind than myself, but I’m an old soul that would rather lose myself in a good book and a hot chocolate with a decent biscuit on the side than venture out into the cold this Winter.
