Love Me Beauty | New To The LMB Shop This October

So what exactly is Love Me Beauty? Love Me Beauty (or LMB) is a monthly beauty subscription service that allows you to select which deluxe samples you’d like to receive. LMB subscribers can hand-pick products from their shop, which is updated every 2nd of the month. Once you become a member you receive 60 credits each month and you decide how to spend them. Different samples have different values, for example, a travel-sized Kat Von D Everlasting Lipstick could be worth 20 credits and a full-sized Nails Inc. nail polish could be worth 25. Last month you could add the PMD Kiss System worth £125 for the full 60 credits to your box. The products stay in the shop until they run out of stock, then they are replaced with something different. Once they’re gone, they usually stay that way. LMB kindly sent me five new products that have recently been added, plus they created a code for my readers – bluebird20 – that gets first-time subscribers 20% off their first order.

Nuxe is a skincare brand that features regularly in the LMB shop. Currently, there are five Nuxe products available including their iconic Huile Prodigieuse. I was sent the Creme Fraiche de Beaute 48HR Moisturising Cream (15ml) this month which I’ve really been enjoying. I love travel-friendly samples like this, it’s through LMB that I fell in love with the Nuxe Reve De Miel Makeup Gel which I took with me during my visit to Crieff Hydro. This rich cream literally melts into my skin and, while it’s not designed with oily skin in mind, it leaves my skin feeling incredibly soft. This sample is worth 15 credits.

I was also sent four deluxe makeup samples from brands So Susan and Jelly Pong Pong. I don’t know much about these brands but I’m guessing that they are sister brands as the packaging and formulas are very similar. Both pencils are multipurpose highlighters. The Bare Necessities Highlighting Pencil from Jelly Pong Pong can be used as a highlighter, eyeshadow base, eyeliner & concealer. The Haute Light Highlighting Pencil from So Susan is made with White Truffle extract to help reduce eye bags and increase skin elasticity. Both are worth 15 credits.

Also available is the Lip Dome from So Susan (15 credits). Lip Dome is a long-wearing hybrid between a rich stain and a hydrating balm. Mango is an incredibly vibrant shade which might not be to everyone’s taste but the formula is seriously hydrating and I’m really impressed with the colour payoff. Our final product is the Play Paint Velvety Lip/Cheek Cream from Jelly Pong Pong (15 credits). This incredibly pigmented cream scared me at first but a little goes a long, long, long way. It delivers 10 hours of continuous wear for both the lips & cheeks so you need to be very careful and quick when applying as you can tell from the swatches below.
