Urban Decay Naked Eyeshadow Palette Collection Swatched

The Urban Decay Naked Eyeshadow collection is simply iconic. The formula is superior to 99% of the eyeshadow palettes I currently own. Naked2 was one of the first high-end palettes that I ever bought and was one of the reasons I came to fall in love with makeup and the beauty industry. It was my first step down the rabbit hole so to speak. As a teenager with a Saturday job, investing that amount of money in one item of makeup was a huge decision but one I never came to regret. It was (and still is) my pride and joy. It sat on top of my dressing table for months untouched like an expensive piece of art. From there, my obsession with makeup began and, several years later with the release of Naked Heat, it continues.

I am an eyeshadow palette hoarder. I just can’t help myself. There’s always a palette on my wish list. Opening them up for the first time, swatching them and playing around with all the different combinations brings me an embarrassing amount of joy – it’s the little things in life I guess. It wasn’t until my collection began to grow that I fully appreciated the pigmentation, buttery texture and blendability of the Urban Decay Naked eyeshadows.

Naked (the palette that revolutionized neutrals forever) is packed with bronze tones to help you achieve golden goddess status, Naked2 (my go-to everyday palette) contains more toned-down casual taupes, Naked3 is very rose-hued, Naked Smoky is exactly what it claims to be; the ultimate smoky palette and newcomer Naked Heat contains a beautiful selection of on-trend burnt reds and sunset vibes. There are also two compact Naked Basic palettes available that include basic high-quality matte shades for a perfect stripped down neutral look. Each palette contains a range of stunning finishes and features Urban Decay’s signature Pigment Infusion System for rich, velvety blendable colour that lasts.
