I was already a huge fan of their Sweet as Cherry Pie Hand Cream so when this beautiful package of bath treats from Patisserie De Bain unexpectedly turned up at my door I think I audibly squealed with delight. I’m still not sure what lovely PR company sent them over, but a massive thank you to whoever did! Patisserie de Bain (now available at Superdrug) is a line of adorably packaged skin care and body care products inspired by childhood memories, colourful French patisseries and quirky retro designs.
The packaging is pretty, pastel and has a vintage twist which looks perfect on top of any dressing table. These will definitely be displayed right at the front of all my lotions and potions. I’m a girly girl so the packaging is half the reason I fell in love with the collection several years ago. My second favourite thing about these products? They smell exactly like you’d expect them to. The Sugared Violet Hand Cream (£3.99) particularly smells like a pack of Parma Violet sweeties. It also leaves your hands feeling beautifully soft.
I love that the hand creams come in either handy 50ml tubes or pretty little 30ml jars for either throwing in your handbag or displaying in your boudoir. Other scents include: Rhubarb Custard, Blackcurrant Apricot Coulee, Creme Patissiere, Cranberries & Cream, Raspberry Roulade and Strawberry Cupcake. Patisserie De Bain doesn’t just do hand creams, their collection also includes soaps, bath bombs, body lotions and, more recently, body mists. If they smell anything like their hand creams then sign me up! Unfortunately, there’s already not much left of my Lemon Bon-Bon Bath & Shower Creme (£3.99) as my husband is a huge fan of it too. It so zingy and refreshing, and using it is the perfect way to wake us both up every morning.
