How is it August already? Even though it’s not over quite yet, it feels like Summer lasted for all of 5 minutes. Even as I look out the window while I type, all I can see is grey skies and drizzle. I can’t deny a small part of me is so ready for Autumn. Although I do not get the obsession with pumpkin spiced everything, I am on board with cosy nights in, scarves, bobble hats and roads sprinkled with orange, brown and red leaves. I wish I was a bikini and cocktail kind of girl, but I’ll always prefer baggy jumpers and hot chocolate.
No matter how miserable the weather, the first of the month is always exciting because it means my Treatbox is on its way. TreatBox is a subscription service that delivers a random box of adorableness to your doorstep every month for £12.95. Each box has a different theme whether it be fairytales, the seaside, candy or mythical creatures and is full of everything from stationery, candles, jewellery, stickers, sweets and bath treats (read my previous reviews here). TreatBox offers a few services; you can build your own box to create the perfect personalised gift (hello blog props), you can purchase past boxes if they’re still in stock, you can buy knick-knacks straight from their online store and you can subscribe like I do.
As you can tell, this month’s TreatBox theme is pretty tea-rrific (#sorrynotsorry). What was inside? Wrapped in peach tissue and sealed with a lovely ‘It’s the little things…’ sticker was two sachets of Clippers Fairtrade Tea, a party ring style wooden coaster from Sass & Belle, fridge magnets, notepad, tea towel, iced biscuit (note: it wasn’t broken on arrival, I accidentally dropped it whilst taking photos), carrot cake recipe card and ‘You can’t start an adventure without a cup of tea first…’ art print.
I love the mixture of thoughtful trinkets and accessories I receive each month from TreatBox; no two boxes are ever the same. You can find out more about TreatBox and the services they offer here.
