The Summer Box | Degustabox Unboxing & Promo Code

This month’s Degustabox* has just landed on my doorstep and I wasted no time at all frantically taking photos so I could devour the lot. Last month’s BBQ box contained big brands such as Haribo, Schwartz and Walkers. A full review can be found here. I thought I’d make full use of the weather and do a little photo shoot outside (God, my neighbours must think I’m nuts), as it is ‘The Summer Box’ after all.

Degustabox | Rowntree's Randoms with 30% less sugar. Degustabox | Fruit Juice Drink from The Crafted I have a notoriously sweet tooth so was excited to find that the ‘Product of the Month’ was this share-sized (yeah, right!) bag of Rowntree’s Randoms (£1.29) now with 30% less sugar. Randoms also remain free from artificial flavours, colours and sweeteners so you needn’t feel guilty chewing on these juicy sweets. Another fruity treat is this Fruit Juice Drink from The Crafted (£1.80). It’s completely new to the market and is currently available in four delicious flavours: Cloudy Lemonade; Pineapple, Coconut & Lime; Apple, Mint & Lime and Mango & Passionfruit.

Degustabox | Ryvita Thins Three Cheese FlatbreadsDegustabox | OLOVES Healthy Olive Snacks

Savoury snacks this month include a box of Ryvita Thins Three Cheese Flatbreads (£1.89) and two mini packs of OLOVES Healthy Olive Snacks (99p each). A box of these crispy Ryvita Thins are great to nibble on in the garden with a glass of bubbly. They are topped with Cheddar, Regato and Emmental and taste delicious when dipped into your favourite fiery salsa. The olives are also the perfect fuss-free snack. These ones are seasoned with a little chilli, garlic and oregano so they pack a cheeky kick.

Merchant Gourmet Cooked Red & White QuinoaWeetabix Additions Coconut & Raisin Frylight Cooking Spray with Avocado OilMaille Dijon Original Mustard

Degustabox always contains a number of store cupboard favourites to dig into when you can’t be bothered popping to the shops or when you need to whip together a quick meal for friends and family. Thanks to Degustabox my cupboards are bursting with condiments, stir-in sauces and microwavable meals. This Merchant Gourmet Cooked Red & White Quinoa (£1.99) is ready to use and has a wonderfully nutty flavour that works well with salads and as a nutritious rice alternative. I use the original version every dinner time so this bottle of Frylight Cooking Spray with Avocado Oil (£2.99) is definitely going to come in handy. It’s my favourite 1 calorie cooking spray and is perfect for making my sweet potato wedges with. Another handy meal-time accompaniment is this full-sized jar of Maille Dijon Original Mustard (£1.99) and you can’t go wrong with stocking up on this massive box of new Weetabix Additions Coconut & Raisin (£2.99) to mix things up this breakfast time.

Degustabox | The Collective Kids Big Tub Yogurt

Also included this month is a full-value voucher for The Collective Kids Big Tub Yogurt (£2) 440g sharing tub. I’m a huge fan of the original and this kids version will be perfect for Penny. It contains whole milk and fruit – no other added nasties! It has been created with kids in mind, therefore, there are no bits or pips but it is still packed with fruit.

Thor Dry Apple SpritzBlossom Hill Spritz Elderflower and Lemon

The alcohol-free version of ‘The Summer Box’ contains two bottles of Thor Dry Apple Spritz. Thor Dry is a new range of premium sparkling apple beverages blended from quality natural ingredients. They are made with less sugar for a drier and crisper taste and come in three delicious and refreshing flavours, Apple, Apple & Mint and Apple & Ginger. The alcohol-friendly version contains a full bottle of Blossom Hill Spritz (£4.99). I received the Elderflower and Lemon flavour and, wow, it’s beautiful. It’s sweet, fruity and very citrusy. I will definitely be repurchasing this in the future.
