At the end of the day, once all the bills have been paid and Penny has a big smile on her face, there are four things that my spare cash is usually spent on: new makeup, the latest skincare, mountains of chocolate and cute stationery. There’s something about writing on that very first page with a shiny new pen that is so satisfying. Yes, I could type a memo or message on my phone, but I prefer to have a notebook handy to scribble all over and decorate with beautiful washi tape. I love having one place to collect all my ideas and if that place happens to be a pink holographic notebook with a unicorn on the front, then so be it! My latest stationery obsession comes from the brand Ban.do available at luxury online retailer Rooi*. Prepare yourself for a little piece of stationery heaven…
I’d never heard of Ban.do before browsing the designer stationery department at Rooi which also features beautiful note cards, accessories and agendas from Matthew Williamson, Kate Spade and Liberty of London. This collection is my favourite of them all. It’s so colourful, fun and quirky and I was immediately drawn to the cheeky slogans and illustrations. The ‘I Am Very Busy’ 17-Month Agenda (£29.95) is the perfect place to store all my posts ideas and keep track of my deadlines and reviews. Not only is it huge, it contains an array of features, including; colour-coded month tabs, year/month/week views, extra note pages, cute sticker pages and stunning artwork.
The agenda is just the tip of the iceberg, it’s the accessories that I fell head-over-heels with such as the adorable Sweet Talk Pen Set (£12.50), Stick With It Tape (£9.95) and, my personal favourite, the Luxury Sticker Book (£9.95). This sticker book is every planner, diary or notebooks best friend. It contains 35 pages packed full of designs from Ban.do’s girl gang of amazing artists. It has everything from reminders to order pizza, go to the gym, plan a movie night and even clean your undies to slightly more practical shopping lists, dentist, manicure and hair appointment reminders. Plus, what blogger could resist a book full of stickers with a metallic rose gold foil cover?
Also available at Rooi is their collection of gym, beach (giant inflatable love heart, anyone?) and drink accessories such as this Coffee is My BBF Deluxe Thermal Travel Mug (£15.95), which was obviously made with me in mind. As well as stationery Rooi stocks luxury candles, bedding, Scandinavian beauty products and silk scarves.
