Urban Decay’s All Nighter is iconic. It was the first setting spray I ever tried and, although a few have come close, none have ever surpassed its ability to set my makeup to perfection. As someone whose working day starts at 7.30am, setting my makeup is essential to keep my makeup locked in place for as long as possible. All Nighter prevents melting, fading and creasing for up to 16 hours and even features patented Temperature Control Technology which lowers the temperature of your makeup to keep foundation, concealer, blush and eyeshadow in place — even in hot and humid, or cold and windy weather conditions.
You might be wondering if All Nighter has been a best-selling product for years, why is everyone suddenly talking about it again? That’s because All Nighter has recently been given a makeover – don’t worry, its formula has been left untouched, it’s only the packaging that has been transformed. I love the new look. The black, purple and frosted white cap is very chic and not as dated as the previous design. The chalkboard style font has a modern edge that’s more in keeping with UD’s trademark style.
This might sound odd, but I was relieved that it still features the original spray too. The sprayer gives a microfine mist that is heavenly to apply and dries in seconds, unlike drugstore dupes that seem to blast liquid unevenly in puddles onto the skin. All Nighter’s spray ensures that a veil of product hugs the skin in all the right places instead of overloading it with product and ruining your look.
What I love about All Nighter is that it doesn’t feel sticky or tight, it doesn’t feel like you’re wearing a mask and it doesn’t leave any tacky residue. It’s free from parabens and oil and works wonders on my combination skin. It helps keep the makeup on my problem areas (chin & nose) from breaking down without sucking the life out of dryer patches. This travel-size weightless spray gives my makeup serious staying power and is a product every makeup lover should have in their collection.
The Urban Decay All Nighter Setting Spray is available two sizes (£10/30ml & £23.50/118ml) both of which are available here with free standard delivery.
