Nip + Fab | Fabulous Skincare & Targeted Treatments

Nip + Fab is a skincare and body care range founded by Maria Hatzistefanis, who is also the founder of Rodial. I’m a huge fan of Rodial as their Stem Cell Super-Food Cleanser is one of my favourite ever high-end skincare products. I was happy to discover that Nip + Fab is a lot more affordable than Rodial and a favourite among celebrities such as their brand ambassador Kylie Jenner.

At first glance, I found the Nip + Fab packaging as well as the names of some of their collections a little intimidating; ‘Viper Venom’, ‘Dragon’s Blood’ and ‘Bee Sting’ particularly left me running for the hills clutching my sensitive skin. I was surprised to learn that their products are actually crammed with innovative and natural ingredients and are a lot more gentle to the skin than you may think. Today I thought I’d share my collection of their best selling products…

The Dragon’s Blood Fix collection utilises sap from the Croton Lechleri tree to form a protective layer on the skin. It also contains everyone’s favourite ingredient, hyaluronic acid, to drench the skin in moisture. I have two products in this range: the Dragon’s Blood Fix Cleansing Pads and Dragon’s Blood Fix Plumping Mask. These are two of my favourite Nip + Fab products. The heavily scented gel mask is a perfect 10-minute pick-me-up that instantly gives my skin a brighter and plumper appearance. It’s perfect for using on days when I feel my skin is looking tired and dull, but I don’t have a lot of time to do anything about it. The pads also contain hyaluronic acid along with Witch Hazel to help reduce and prevent blemishes, reduce redness and tighten pores. The tub contains 60 pads drenched in product that also helps get rid of any lingering traces of makeup.

The only product I have from their bestselling exfoliating range is the Glycolic Instant Fix Mask. This mask helps to mattify the skin and refine the surface of the skin just as an exfoliating scrub would. This mask may be a little too powerful for sensitive skin types as it contains ‘pore tightening technology’ that some might feel uncomfortable. I use this mask when my skin is looking particularly oily and when the pores on my nose are looking visible and shiny.

The Viper Venom range is all about achieving ‘selfie-ready’ skin by blurring imperfections and giving skin a soft matte finish. The Viper Venom Micro Blur Fix primer creates the perfect base for applying makeup and getting rid of unwanted shine. At first, I didn’t like this product at all. When I applied my makeup on top it of it, it would break up into silicone-like balls underneath my base. I later discovered this was because I wasn’t allowing it to dry fully. The Viper Venom Wrinkle Fix is a product I use every day. This serum visibly reduces the appearance of the lines on my forehead. I see a noticeable difference to how pronounced the lines are if I skip this step. It’s a highly effective under-rated skincare product that I have fallen head over heels with. I don’t understand why more people aren’t raving about this stuff.

I currently have four products I’ve yet to try which include three products from their No Needle Fix anti-aging collection (the triple action eye cream, plumping & volumising serum and firming & protecting moisturiser) and the Bee Sting Fix Cream Deluxe which I can’t wait to start using once my Caudalie Vinosource Moisturising Sorbet is finished.
