My first Degustabox* of 2017 has just been delivered so I thought I’d share with you all the goodies inside. Last month’s festive box included a full-sized box of apple & cinnamon flavoured fudge from Crediton Confectionary, risotto, noodles, breakfast cereal and watermelon water.
As a huge caffeine addict, I was delighted with the contents of this month’s box. In the words of Lorelai Gilmore: “I can’t stop drinking the coffee, I stop drinking coffee, I stop doing the standing and the walking, and the words-putting-into-sentences-doing”. This jar of We Are Little’s French Vanilla Infused Instant Coffee (£2.99) was the first product to be opened and devoured this month, accompanied with this full-sized tin of natural sweetener from Natvia (£4.99). I also received two packets of Chia seeds from The Chia Co (66p) (very tempted to try a Chia Mocha using the recipe card included) and a coin of artisan hot chocolate from the Pip’s Real Hot Chocolate Co. I can’t wait to dissolve this into warm milk and cream for an indulgent Winter treat.
There was a lot of beverages in this month’s box including two cans of Aspire Health Drink in Cranberry and Mango Lemonade (£1.45), strawberry flavoured Protein Shake (£1.29), Chosan by Nature Pure Hibiscus Drink in Firey Ginger (£1.99) and Crabbies Alcoholic Ginger Beer (£1.39).
Savoury snacks include two huge bags of Yushoi Coconut & Chilli Snapea Rice Sticks (£1.79), Popchip Ridges in Crazy Hot (£1.99), Finn Crisp Crispbreads (£1.89) and ready cooked organic pearl quinoa with split peas from Quinola Mothergrain (£2.49).
Finally, we are two delicious sweet treats: a bag of 30% Less Sugar Fruittella (£1.25) and a coupon for a full-sized pot of thick gourmet live yoghurt from The Collective (£2). I’m already a huge fan of The Collective, their Scottish Raspberry flavour is utter heaven!
