Christmas Gift Guide 2016 | Last Minute Stocking Fillers for Him

The countdown to the big day is well and truly on! I don’t know about you but I always find the men in my family the trickiest to buy for. Of course, a selection box and a bottle of his favourite tipple may be the easiest way to go, but if you’re looking for something a little more fun to pop into his stocking this year, I’ve got you covered…

Every year I buy the lads the same Nivea and Gillette gift sets that aren’t exactly greeted with much enthusiasm. This year I picked up a few products from Brisk, the beard specialists, including their Citrus Beard Oil £6.99 (here) and Tea Tree & Cedar Wood Shampoo £3.99 (here). The oil claims to make skin feel less dry and itchy, a well as soften and tame the ‘grizzliest’ of beards.

Other novelty gifts include these funky ‘Commander Awesome’ socks from Chatty Feet that I’m sure I’ll end up stealing at some point this Christmas. I think all guys secretly love getting socks, especially if they’re as fun as this pair! Other characters in their quirky collection include artist Vincent Van Toe, Kate Middletoe and Professor Brian Sox. If you’re looking for something more personal, I also got three keyrings from Photobox made with Penny’s photo inside for only £6.

If he has a geeky side I definitely suggest popping into your local comic book shop and asking what they would recommend. I’ve picked up two graphic novels (Deadpool Kills the Marvel Universe & Spawn) a few Pop! Vinyl toys, a special edition My Geek Box Crate (here) and a few vintage looking t-shirts from Truffle Shuffle to add to his pile.

What gifts have you bought your guy this Christmas?
