As a serial beauty box subscriber and all round makeup and skincare hoarder, it’s no surprise that I’m a huge fan of Feel Unique’s new sample service. As a frequent Feel Unique shopper, I was surprised to find out about the Pick ‘n’ Mix service not from a promotional ad or email, but from one of my favourite beauty blogs: hannahheartss.co.uk. In fact, even after I had read about it, I still struggled to find the link online. This could be Feel Unique’s best-kept secret.
Each month Feel Unique customers can select 5 samples from brands such as Benefit, Caudalie, Lancome and Nuxe. Samples range from one-use face mask sachets, tiny perfume vials and micellar water pouches. The service is ‘free’, but you do have to pay a £3.95 handling and shipping fee, however, you receive a gift voucher which you can redeem on a future purchase for the full amount. You are also limited to one Pick ‘n’ Mix sample selection per person, per month.
Last month I decided to try the Elemis Fruit Active Rejuvenating Face Mask, Kiehl’s Cilantro & Orange Extract Pollutant Defending Soothing Mask, Benefit’s Ka Brow, the Trilogy Everything Balm and Prada Candy perfume. You can search for your favourite brand and sample type (vial, sachet, tube & card) easily and although sample sizes are small (from around 0.7ml-20ml) each product displays the amount it contains clearly to avoid disappointment.
