I love rummaging around budget stores such as Poundland and Poundworld, but it’s been a while since I’ve managed to find any beauty bargains, however, I recently popped into B&M and came across their collection of W7 products.
I picked up two of their Candy Blushes in Gossip and Galactic for only £1.49 each. The packaging reminds me of the Bourjois Little Round Pots, with the same compact mirror inside, shade name and ingredients on that back but with 70’s style block letters on the front.
Galactic is the less pigmented but actually my favourite of the two. It’s a soft matte peach shade with a very subtle golden shimmer that gives a pretty glow, whereas Gossip is more of a hot pink which is very blendable but a little too dark for my fair skin tone. The formula is slightly on the chalky side but is silky soft, blends easily and is surprisingly long lasting.
Considering these blushes retail for £5.95 on the official W7 online store it’s definitely worth popping into B&M and picking a few shades up. The colour payoff is impressive and each pot contains a decent amount of product (6g). I wasn’t too impressed with my previous W7 purchases (their Sheer Loose Powder and Naked Nude Palette) but I am a fan of these blushers and can see myself picking up a few more shades next time I’m in store.
Have you tried the Candy Blushes or any other products from the W7 collection?
