Caudalie Vinosource Moisturizing Sorbet Review

Caudalie is a French beauty brand that was founded in 1995 and has since become a leading pioneer in luxury skincare. Caudalie is committed to using formulas that contain natural ingredients, that respect the environment and are biodegradable, free from toxins such as parabens, SLS, mineral oils and phthalates, and are cruelty-free. Although this is the first time I have consistently used a Caudalie product for a significant amount of time, Caudalie is always a brand that I am delighted to receive a sample from in a beauty box or PR goody bag. In the past, I’ve tried samples of their Resveratrol Firming Serum, Vinoperfect Tinted Moisturiser and Vinoperfect Radiance Serum, and always been delighted by their texture, fragrance and initial effectiveness, and also a fan of their simple, yet chic packaging and style. I was delighted to be sent the Caudalie Paris Vinosource Moisturizing Sorbet* from the UK’s leading online organic skincare and beauty retailer Naturisimo, so I could finally discover if this prestigious skincare company lives up to the hype.

Caudalie Vinosource Moisturizing Sorbet Review

The Vinosource Moisturizing Sorbet is a hypoallergenic gel-cream that contains organic grapewater, chamomile and antioxidant polyphenol, which gives the cream natural and immediate calming properties suitable for sensitive skin. I’ve been using this cream for over a month now, applying every day and every night and I love how lightweight and soothing feels. The non-greasy formula absorbs into the skin quickly and creates the perfect base to apply my makeup. The creme-gel has a delicate fragrance of fresh flowers and works well on my combination skin; it hydrates my dry under eye area and cheeks, but also balances out my oily T-zone.

This moisturising sorbet isn’t as heavy as a cream, it’s light, delicate and is the perfect moisturiser to use in humid and warm weather to refresh, soothe and give the skin an instant boost of hydration. Considering its fancy name its formula is actually pretty simple and delivers exactly what it promises; comfortably soft, hydrated skin free from redness and irritation. My expectations were very high, so I’m really pleased that my first proper experience with Caudalie, and the Vinosource family, has been so positive. This moisturiser is a must-have product to refresh dehydrated, sensitive skin this Summer.

The Caudalie Paris Vinosource Moisturizing Sorbet is available at Naturisimo.com and retails for £21.85/40ml.
