I guess it’s a bit of an old wives tale that during pregnancy you hair grows thicker and your nails stronger, as for me it’s been the complete opposite! Today I’m using the base coat underneath one of my favourite shades from Revlon’s Colorstay Gel Envy Collection: Pocket Aces. This juicy pinky-coral shade is perfect for Summer. I also popped on a layer of Revlon’s Diamond Top Coat to ensure even longer wear and a glossier, fade-resistant finish.
This shade is highly pigmented, you barely need even two coats to get a beautiful even coverage. I actually got a full five days wear before a few chips started to appear which is a bit of a miracle for me! The flat, wide brush allows for easy and quick application and the formula is incredibly fast drying and streak-free.
If you suffer from weak or soft nails that split easily I can’t recommend the Nails Inc NailKale Superfood Base Coat highly enough. It has transformed my nails. They used to brittle and break ridiculously easily, but not anymore.
