The Harry Potter Tag (Part 2)

* Warning contains Spoilers! *

I consider myself a Potterhead. My depth in knowledge of the wizarding world may not be quite as extensive compared to others but nevertheless, it was the series of books, films and soundtracks that made my childhood utterly magical and because of that Harry Potter will always have a place in my heart.

I came across the original Harry Potter Tag on lifestyle and book blog One Tiny Wish over a year ago. If you decide to do the tag please let me know and leave a link to the post below. Part 1 can be found here, let’s get started…

Lifestyle | The Harry Potter Tag (Part 2)

13. What would you rather have – the elder wand, the resurrection stone or the invisibility cloak?
I’d have to kill the previous owner of the elder wand to wield any real powder, right? And I’m fortunate enough not to have lost anyone close to me, so I’d have to go for the invincibility cloak. Is it sad I’d probably just got to Waterstones and help myself to free books and coffee?

14. What house would you be in?
Hufflepuff, “You might be in Hufflepuff. Where they are just and loyal, those patient Hufflepuff’s are true, and unafraid of toil.”

15. If you were on the Quidditch team, which position would you play?
Competitive sports are not my friend. I’m usually that lonely player that’s last to get chosen. To be honest, the Seeker looks like they have the least dangerous job, you know, unless you’re Harry Potter, so I’ll go for that one.

16. Which class would be your favourite?
Herbology and Potions sound pretty interesting, but I’d love learn how to become an animal in McGonagall’s Transfiguration class. On second thoughts, I think Care of Magical creatures would probably be my favourite.

17. If you could bring one character back to life, who would it be?
The deaths that upset me most were Tonks & Lupin, Dumbledore, Sirius and Fred. I’m torn between the last two. Maybe Sirius? He did have a hell of a time of it in Azkaban. I’m going to change my mind on that one at least 10 times before the day is through.

18. What would be your job be in the magical world?
Perhaps a job looking after magical creatures, not a dragon handler but something like Hagrid’s job where I have my own little cottage and a pet Hippogriff.

19. If you could meet any member of the cast, who would it be?
Up to very recently it would have been Alan Rickman. It’s still heartbreaking to think he’s no longer with us. I guess my second choice would be Daniel Radcliffe, he seems like such a genuinely lovely guy and would be easy to talk to.

20.  How much does Harry Potter mean to you?
Hogwarts is where I travel to escape. Whenever I’m down or stressed I just pick up a book and everything that is worrying me disappears into the background. I feel like a child, not an adult with responsibilities and deadlines. As Stephen King once said, “Books are uniquely portable magic.” and well, books don’t come any more magical than Harry Potter.

I hope you enjoyed reading my final 8 answers. I know I rambled on a bit but some were really difficult. I tag all fellow Potterheads and bookworms to take on this challenge.
