I obviously couldn’t leave the Kiko Milano Glasgow store without buying a few treats so I picked up a couple of their smart lipsticks, eyeshadows (full review here) and the Blending Wave Multicolor Blush from their limited-edition ‘The Artist’ collection in Creative Peach (5g/£10.90).
This two tone blush is available in four shades including the dusky Ingenious Mauve, the warm Expressive Biscuit, and the pretty Artistic Pink. I already own lots of pink blushes (plus I have more ordered from Makeup Geek waiting to be dispatched) so I wanted something a little warmer. Creative Peach contains two peach based blushes swirled together. The shades can be used separately but I prefer to combine the two which gives a beautiful soft peachy glow with a slight shimmer and pink undertones.
The packaging is simple, the white compact contains a mirror and the top is embossed with the collection’s signature brush strokes and splashes of colour. The powder has a silky, smooth texture that blends almost like a cream. The shade is incredibly buildable and can give your cheeks a soft pretty glow or more defined warmth depending on what coverage you’re looking for.
This shade gives a fresh, natural glow to the cheeks that is incredibly long lasting and it blends easily with my RT blush brush. I seem to be on a winning streak with Kiko. So far I’ve adored every product I’ve bought and this blusher is no exception.
