Getting Nakd with Natural Balance Foods

I don’t know about you, but it seems like I’ve just finished my Christmas chocolate and *boom!* it’s creme egg season. Easter seems to have arrived even earlier this year and with the amount of temptation stocking the supermarket shelves, all those New Years resolutions I made to get healthy and active have flown out the window – but now I’m on my way to getting back on track. Nakd raw fruit and nut bars are a great way to eat nutritious, healthy food without compromising on taste. I was very kindly sent a mixed box of these wholesome treats and they have quickly become my go-to snack in-between meals and when I’m on the go. The bars are made from natural ingredients such as dates, cashews, raspberries and even cocoa, that are then cold-pressed or as I prefer, ‘smooshed’, together into a handy bar. Each bar is wheat free, dairy free, vegan-friendly and contains no added sugar or hidden extras.

There are so many delicious varieties to choose from including: Berry Delight, Caffe Mocha, Cocoa Orange, Gingerbread, Pecan Pie, Cocoa Mint, Cocoa Delight, Cashew Cookie, Rhubarb & Custard and my personal favourite, Bakewell Tart. The bars have a chewy texture and they are so crammed with raw fruits that one bar can count towards your 5 a day.
