Christmas at Lush | Peeping Santa, Cinders, Magic Wand & The Magic of Christmas

I know I’m a little behind on the times but money has been tight, so I’ve only just got my hands on a few of Lush’s new Christmas releases. As some of you may already know, as soon as Halloween is over I get straight into the festive spirit. At this time of year, I love nothing more than filling my home with cinnamon, clove and ginger Yankee Candles and filling my baking cupboard full of dried fruits and spices in preparation for making hampers and festive treats. I agree it’s just that little bit too early to start playing my favourite Michael Buble CD (you know the one I’m talking about), but I am more than happy to whip up a gingerbread latte and soak in a bath bubbling over with Lush Christmas treats.

A few classic limited edition products have made their way back on the shelves this year including five of my favourites: Snow Fairy, Golden Wonder, Snowman, Butterbear and Rose Jam. There are also a few new products available which I couldn’t wait to try.

Peeping Santa £3.95
It took me a while to find a Santa that wasn’t deformed in the huge pile at Lush during my trip to Lincoln but I think you’ll agree that this little guy is pretty adorable. Peeping Santa has dairy free chocolate eyes and a Fair Trade cocoa butter filling sandwiched between a bergamot and geranium oil infused bubble bar. It also contains hand-churned shea butter from the Ojoba women’s cooperative in Ghana.

Cinders £2.95
Cinders is a back to basics bath bomb. It was the promise of popping candy that wowed me over with this product. The simple combination of cinnamon leaf oil and sweet orange also makes this bath treat smell heavenly .

Magic Wand £5.25
This reusable bubble bar was a little on the pricey side but I couldn’t resist! It’s hard not to feel like a fairy princess holding this. If you like Snow Fairy and Candy Mountain you will love this product as it has the same signature candy floss scent. Swish this around your bath or hold under running water and then pop it on the side to dry out for next time. Customers on the Lush website claim to have gotten at least 10 baths from this wand which, if true, it amazing value. I tend to use a lot of product in my bath so I’m unsure if mine will last as long.

The Magic of Christmas £5.95
Another reusable bubble bar, The Magic of Christmas sums up what my perfect Christmas smells like. You can’t help feel festive inhaling the spicy combination of cloves and cinnamon. Down to its little red bow, bell and cinnamon stick, this is sure to turn any Grinch’s frown upside down. Once again, this a reusable product so you can get many uses out of this on the lead up to the big day, but there’s a part of me that wants to save this for Christmas Eve and throw the whole thing in!
