What I love most about weddings are the finishing touches and details that make the day special and personal to the happy couple. It’s no big secret that Ross and I are huge big geeks. We love all things Marvel and DC, we collect comics (we’ve even been known to alphabetize them on occasion) and I’m a self-confessed Browncoat, Oncer and Potterhead. We had a few blink-and-you’ll miss it nods to our geeky tendencies throughout our wedding day including our Spiderman/Buffy inspired wedding vows (click here if you missed them), our Deadpool cake decoration, our piper’s rendition of the Game of Thrones theme and the guys hidden superhero alter-egos…
These are pretty much my favourite photos of the whole bunch and they were taken by my lovely photographer Mairi at Mairi Claire Photography. My delicious cake was made by Cakes by Alexandra. Thanks to our amazing wedding party for joining in, it was such a giggle and I can’t help but smile every time I see them.
