The Lush Comforter Bubble Bar Review

Seasons, trends and fads come and go at Lush, but there are a handful of products that will always make their way into my shopping basket, no matter how many tempting animal shaped, glitter-infused, rainbow-coloured goodies stock the shelves. These include the hugely underrated Butterball, my breakout must-have Cupcake face mask and my indulgent, berry scented bath-time treat – The Comforter (£4.75).

Now, I know it’s a little more expensive than your average bubble bar but you have to remember that this will last for at least two baths, maybe even 3 or 4. The bubble bar crumbles easily under warm water turning it a gorgeous hot pink colour and filling your bathroom with a delicious blackcurrant scent. This isn’t one of those products that just fizz out into nothingness (*cough* like The Experimenter *cough*). The mountain of fluffy bubbles, the scent and the colours will swirl around your bathtub for ages!

It contains an infusion of Cassis Absolute, Bergamot and Cypress essential oils to give a gloriously, calming berry fragrance. The scent of the water really does wrap itself around you like a giant blanket, helping you to relax and switch off from the chaos of everyday life.

The Comforter has also recently been transformed into a new shower cream which is available here. I can’t wait to get my hands on this! The smell of The Comforter also lingers on the skin throughout your day and doesn’t stain your bathtub – two things that are sure to keep you stress-free for as long as possible!
