Today I thought I’d share with you a gift I received from all the lovely ladies who came to my hen party. We spent most of the day at the Virgin Active Spa in Edinburgh having aromatherapy massages and gossiping in the hot tub and sauna. I was also given a gorgeous pink cotton robe with ‘bride’ embroidered on the back. We then went back to an apartment we had rented for the night and played party games, dressed up and posed in our DIY photo booth, drank way too many cocktails and had a toilet roll wedding dress competition. The winners created some rather stunning tin foil pumps to go with their ensemble. We then danced the night away in a cheesy 80s club to tunes from Guns & Roses, Whitney and the Grease Mega Mix – it was such a giggle!
Whether your a bridesmaid or clucking hen this simple keepsake is the perfect way to say ‘Kiss the Miss Goodbye…’ and all you need is some lipsticks, paper, pens and a photo frame. All the ladies popped out during the night to do this in secret and presented it to me the night before the wedding along with a cute book full of messages, quotes and photos of the hen which I’ll cherish forever and I can’t wait to share with you next time!
