The Nourish Skincare range was created by Dr Pauline Hili, a specialist in organic skincare and the properties of plant extracts. Nourish Skincare uses biodegradable ingredients that are ethically sourced and pure essential oils chosen for their mood enhancing properties. All products are cruelty free and certified by the Vegan Society. The range combines the highest quality natural extracts with advanced scientific bio-actives to achieve award-wing results (the Nourish Balance Purifying Shower Gel was voted Best Body Cleanser at the Cosmopolitan Beauty Awards 2013).
I was lucky enough to receive a sample of Nourish’s Kale Enzymatic Exfoliating Cleanser (50ml/£16.50). There are three ways to use this product – as a cleanser (massage gently over wet skin, rinse with cool water and pat dry), a daily exfoliating mask (smooth over dry skin and leave for 2 minutes) and a weekly revitalising facial (apply as a mask, leave for 5 minutes and massage gently). This multi-tasking treatment features pomegranate enzymes to gently exfoliate the skin. The cleanser also contains healing probiotics and griffonia extract, which create a protective shield against daily environmental aggressors
Although not the prettiest of products, the cleanser left my skin feeling soft and supple. My complexion looked fresh and glowing afterwards, and it gave my skin a deep cleanse, removing all traces of makeup without leaving my skin itchy and thirsty like similar products tend to do. The Kale Enzymatic Exfoliating Cleanser proved to be very gentle and natural product which, considering it’s rather scientific name, I wasn’t expecting. My initial impressions regarding the cleanser are really positive. After just one application I felt my skin looked brighter, cleaner and well, nourished.
The Nourish Kale Enzymatic Exfoliating Cleanser retails at £16.50 for 50ml and is available to purchase here.
P.S. Please remember that I am currently on my honeymoon, but I will be returning on the 11th August to reply to any comments, questions and queries you may have!
