For the last 30 days, I have been lucky enough to try not one, but four products from the Time Bomb skincare collection*! Time Bomb focuses on the four key reasons behind skin ageing; loss of ability to shed dry skin, loss of moisture, loss of oil and loss of collagen. Their award-winning collection of skincare products with patented anti-aging formulas, aims to stop time in it’s tracks and help women of all ages feel confident and look younger and more radiant than ever.
Take-Off Time Cleansing Cream (75ml/£13.75)*
Step one in my daily skincare routine for the past month has been the Take-Off Time Cleansing Cream. This exfoliating cleanser with “professional dermatological grade crystals” and a unique blend of magnesium oxide (a key ingredient in micodermabrasion), cleanses the skin whilst gently polishing away the top layer of makeup, dead skin and impurities to reveal fresh, glowing skin underneath. I use this cleanser with my Magnitone Cleansing Brush to get an even deeper clean and you can purchase a pack of Polishing Pads to accompany the cleanser in their online store. The cleansing cream has a rich and thick formula with minute granules which are suitable to use on sensitive skin. The cleanser is incredibly moisturising, leaving my skin fresh and plump, not tight and thirsty like similar products I’ve used in the past. The cream is fragranced with calming lavender and leaves skin soft and glowing.
Complexion Cocktail with a Shot of H2Omega (100ml/£24)*
This little bottle is like nothing I’ve ever tried before. It’s my secret weapon against dry, dehydrated skin. It’s exactly what it says on the bottle, a highly concentrated cocktail of ingredients that give tired, crinkled skin a boost of moisture and youth. The cocktail includes; a Hyaluronic Acid Complex, which attracts and retains optimal moisture and a blend of two of nature’s richest sources of Omega, Chia Oil and electrolyte-rich Coconut Oil. Both these ingredients are known for their exceptional hydrating power as Omega releases essential fatty acids and water-soluble hydrators to help reload skin’s moisture reserves – the result? Instantly hydrated, supple skin that appears more plump and brighter. I simply pour a small amount of the clear liquid onto a cotton wool pad and apply to my face every morning and evening after my cleanser. This ‘complexion cocktail’ is the ultimate way to pamper tired and parched skin as it soothes and restore skin’s natural supple texture and counters the effects of temporary and serious dehydration.
Black Ops Dark Circle Rescue (15ml/£36)*
Bruise-like under-eye circles? Deep shadows? Lid discolouration? The Black Ops Dark Circle Rescue treatment serum targets all these sources of darkness around your eyes to firm, lighten and brighten the eye area. The lightweight serum helps to firm delicate and near-translucent skin were tiny broken capillaries can show through and helps to prevent blood or water accumulation that causes puffy bags to cast shadows. The serum contains a combination of; Vitamin B3, Caffeine, Horse Chestnut Extract, micro-reflective particles, Quinoa Seed extract and 4-hexylresorcinol, a potent melanin inhibitor to lightened dark lids and discoloration. Since using Black Ops I have noticed an overall brightening of my eye area that makes them look less tired and sunken. The treatment is soothing and cooling so is perfect to use after an exhausting, tiring day.
Glory Days Day Cream (from 15ml/£12)*
Finding a day cream that works best for you is the foundation of any effective skincare routine. Glory Days is a multi-functional moisturiser that leaves my skin super soft, smooth and rosy – it’s the perfect canvas for applying my makeup! Plus the cream sinks into the skin without leaving any residue on the top layer of the skin.
I have to admit, I originally thought Time Bomb skincare products were suitable only for mature skin, I think their brand ambassador, Lulu, helped to reinforce this image. However, after exploring Time Bomb’s luxurious and effective collection I now realise that this couldn’t be farther from the truth, and I am now totally converted! Using this combination of products has transformed my skin. I have reclaimed my natural, youthful glow, the surface of my skin feels firmer and even slightly plumper, plus my skin has never been so soft and hydrated! As much as I love all these products, I’m most impressed with the Complexion Cocktail with a Shot of H2Omega. The combination of Chia and Coconut oil is so luxurious on my skin and will come particularly handy during my holidays to pamper and soothe my poor face at night after long days in hot temperatures. I honestly can’t wait to try other products from Time Bomb, including their bath, body, fragrance and hair care collection!
The Time Bomb collection is available here at their official website and also at QVC.co.uk, who offer some great savings and pamper packages!
