So today I have three glamorous colours to introduce to you that are perfect for your next night out with the girls. Just like my Springtime pastels these three little beauties come from the Ciate London Mini Mani Manor Nail Varnish Advent Calendar which contains 23 x 5ml mini paint pots and effects, 1 set of festive transfers and 1 x 13ml full sized secret shade hidden behind it’s beautifully decorated doors.
Sand dune is a rich shimmering liquid gold (£9/13.5ml). This colour is perfect with either a little black dress or with a tan and maxi dress sunning yourself in St Tropez, I love how versatile it is! Whatever look you’re going for only 2 coats are needed of this highly pigmented polish to create a bold nail which glimmers as the light catches it. Unrestricted glam is a glossy high impact black that every collection needs. I used three coats as I found the first was a little streaky but the Ciate polishes are very long lasting so this really isn’t an issue, and the formula is also very quick drying.
A member of Ciate’s ‘Tweed’ collection, the very British Sloaney, Sweetie makes for the perfect top coat if you’re looking for a little extra sparkle or it can be used on it own, layered to create a textured finish. Described as the “go-to shade for girly girls from Knightbridge and beyond” and branded a pink/nude shade, I think Sloaney, Sweetie has more of a bronze appearance when layered which is why I think it goes perfectly with this luxurious nighttime look.
