Beauty | Soap & Glory – Hand Dream, Heel Genius & Whipped Clean

Welcome to part 2 of the Soap & Glory series – a collection of posts dedicated to the fun and flirty bath time treats and makeup from the ultimate British beauty brand. I’ll be looking at three more products from the mother of all Soap and Glory gift sets – The Next Big Thing by Hattie Stewart. This week it’s the turn of Hand Dream (£7/100ml), Heel Genius (£5.50/125ml) and the Whipped Clean Shower Butter (£7/250ml). Click here to read last month’s post which featured the iconic Righteous Butter & Sugar Crush.

Beauty | Soap & Glory - Hand Dream, Heel Genius & Whipped Clean

First up is the Whipped Clean shower butter. At first I thought this was an after shower moisturiser as the formula was so thick and creamy. In fact you massage this heavenly scented (a blend of pistachio, almond & vanilla) butter onto damp skin, rub into a lather and rinse off. The luxurious cream wash contains cocoa, shea butters, grapeseed, sweet almond and macadamia nut oils which combine to leave skin silky soft and smooth. Whipped clean can also double up as a shaving cream to avoid legs from becoming itchy and irritated. My legs felt unbelievably soft after my shower and the sweet almost cake-like smell lingered on my skin all day long.

Beauty | Soap & Glory - Hand Dream, Heel Genius & Whipped Clean

I have to admit my poor little feet were definitely in need of some TLC before I tried Heel Genius! My tired tootsies were dehydrated and rough – let me tell you Heel Genius worked wonders on them. I massaged quite a generous amount onto my feet and then covered them with a pair of comfy cotton socks to allow the lotion to soak in whilst I slept. In the morning my dry cracked heels had drastically softened. Foot cream is something I’d never think to buy or use, I think it’s because I relate it to little old ladies, which is ridiculous as your feet deserve a bit of pampering too! Heel Genius contains allantoin, glycerin, macadamia oil, menthol, bilberry, orange and lemon fruit acid smoothers, which in all honesty doesn’t mean that much to me but this ‘miraculous moisturising mix’ is the perfect recipe for fabulous feet.

And finally Hand Dream, fragranced with the Soap & Glory’s scrumptious signature scent – I can literally not rave about this super intensive hand cream enough! One tube of this beauty can always be found on my bedside table and another in the kitchen under the sink to restore moisture after washing the dishes and other boring household chores. Apparently Hand Dream uses botanicals to “stimulate cell renewal and target age spots”, all I know is that it does exactly what is says on the tin – it rejuvenates, rehydrates, protects and softens, and I can’t recommend it enough!

Coming up in Part 3 next week in the Soap & Glory Series – Thick & Fast Mascara and Off Your Face Cleansing Wipes.
